Gourd pyrography art, also known as hot-iron gourd art or fire pen gourd art, is a traditional craft with distinctive artistic value. It is commonly produced in Shandong, Shanxi, and Anhui provinces in China. Artists use a heated iron to burn patterns onto the surface of gourds, creating permanent art pieces that can be preserved and collected.
