It flourished during the Ming and Qing dynasties and was extensively used for palace decorations and attire. Known for its exquisite materials, superb techniques, and elegant style, most high-quality palace embroideries in the folk are closely related to the imperial palace, representing the wisdom and artistic creation of the ancient working people.
